mig33 for Android Launched Today

One of the most famous mobile application mig33 now available for smartphones with Android OS. Mig33, the world’s largest mobile-first community, today launched mig33 for Android, a much-anticipated, feature-rich version of the mobile social entertainment service that has already attracted more than 40 million registered users worldwide – and a version that radically widens mig33’s opportunity for future growth.
mig33 for Android squarely positions mig33 for continued success, as low-cost Android offerings are expected to soar worldwide and – in particular – in the emerging, mobile-first regions that have seen mig33’s Java and WAP versions help it grow to be the largest mobile-first community ever. Currently mig33 supports only java, Blacberry, and windows mobile only.

No Android 2.3 Gingerbread Update for LG Optimus One P500!

According to the official Facebook page of LG, South Korean mobile phone maker, the LG Optimus One P500 will not get the new update for Android 2.3 Gingerbread. In a post on LG Facebook account they said that it won't offer the new operating system to its Optimus One P500 due to processor speed requirement that Google has put in place with the platform version. Though this statement content is currently unavailable at Facebook.

As LG posted at Facebook, “So, the Optimus line won't be getting the Gingerbread update because they have a 600MHz processor, and the minimum requirements for Gingerbread require 1 GHz processor. In other words: it's not possible to update the processor, unfortunately,”
But this might have been a misunderstanding coz Google says that no such requirement for  Android 2.3 Gingerbread. The requirements for Gingerbread are in line with those for Froyo, but this does not mean that all mobile phones that run under Android 2.2 would be eligible for an upgrade to Android 2.3.

LG Optimus One is one of the top sell Android smartphone and has the power to beat some high-end phones. But this statement from LG is very disgusting. Nobody understand why LG lying again and again. Few days back I found another lie by LG on his official site for LG Optimus One P500 where they told that this phone support Adobe Flash 10.1 but a review at Tech2 denied it. And when I ask and post a query about that on LG's Life's Good Facebook page, they removed Adobe Flash 10.1 support info from the official site.

For your information read this carefully it you don't know that you're allowed to put three standard AdSense for content ad units, three link units, and two AdSense for search boxes on any page of your site.

Choose the Right ad Units for Your Pages:
As a general rule of thumb, wider ad units perform better because they:
  • Are easier for users to read and interact with
  • Allow more ads to be displayed within a unit
  • Are preferred by advertisers designing image or video ads
Also, remember to opt in to display text and image ads, as this increases the pool of advertisers competing to appear on your site.

Improve your AdSense Implementation by Increasing ad Coverage on Your Site:

  • Put ads on pages that don’t currently have any, as this increases the chances of monetizing your site’s traffic. This is especially true for the high traffic areas of your site.
  • Adsense data shows that placing ads within the page content or article text, or near the navigational areas of your site, can strongly increase ad performance, since it gives your users relevant ads alongside the great content that they’re used to.
  • Use link units to monetize the smaller areas on your site.
  • Above all: the most effective change you can make is to put at least one ad unit above the fold -- the section of the page users see without scrolling down.
